Review of President Putin

image

This is the most disgraceful, vile, loathsome lop-sided article I’ve read in quite a while!! “[…The Russian Economy] it’s all natural resources. It’s really a Siberian Saudi Arabia.” I severely oppose Fareed Zakaria and I have for quite awhile. Ever since he’s been employed by CNN, he’s been so brainwashed, it makes me squeamish!! I very much disagree in the way he paints Russia in this sort of totalitarian, communist light…it’s 2012!!!!!!! Stalin is NOT Putin and by any means is not comparable to Putin..I think that’s too extreme…

“Perhaps there will be some kind of revelation where he [Putin] begins to understand that and loosens up and opens up the system. I very much doubt it. I think more likely, it will take some kind of sharp shock from the outside to bring that realization.”

Gee, I wonder what kind of agenda Zakaria is forced to push via CNN guidelines, inciting division and making Russia look like isolationist pigs who would rather do business with themselves and no one else..it’s a complete farce and sham..this is the type of thinking that’s so ancient that the Czar Nicholas (I) himself would roll in his grave had he heard this.

In many cases (not all), this type of subliminal message is what Americans hear and utilize as their primary source of information and news. When the general public is exposed to volatile phrases such as above, it provokes this mentality in which it ultimately translates into, let us slap sanctions on Russia and demobilize them and possibly even invade them. Why must we as Americans segregate ourselves from foreign affairs rather than cultivating not only domestic, but international relationships?  When Putin opens the paper and reads articles like this, this is the reasons why we further put a gap between countries rather than negotiating with them. My good friend could not have put it better, “Cold war never ended… it just evolved to a new different level.”

The Putin regime has actually expanded diplomatic ties more so than most presidents have since the fall of the Communist bloc. It’s a shame that countries (like the US), can’t recognize the progress they have made…Read the article below and decide for yourself.

Women In Politics & The Male Bigotry

image

I am utterly astounded yet revolted in the mere fact that a great proportion of women all around (conservative or liberal), are accepting men voting and deciding on issues that are primarily female related and concern women!! Just by default of gender, women do have a slight advantage on voting on these topics. I’m not out casting the male gender in anyway per se, but men tend to revel in power when holding many positions that regard females. In short, the message centers on the fact that women should continue to have the opportunity (just as equal as men), to speak upon these matters publicly and not be scrutinized for it.

For thousands of years to date in almost every culture, women have been subjected and forced to suppress their views for fear of persecution, exile, or even death. Today, those situations have been substantially equated to centuries long full of female oppression. In modern times, women are degraded and their opinions are easily trashed as meaningless without given any thought or perspective. If you still don’t agree, then how many successful women are out there today who have a primetime television news show? Or how many women hold office in the Executive Branch? How many female CEOs do you come across in the private sector?

In 2010, world renowned magazine, Time reported that U.S. women earn 77 cents on the male dollar:

In recent news, the most intense debates have boiled down to abortion, birth control, and the government’s place among these themes.  Perhaps males and nevertheless the government, don’t fully understand the true reality of abortion, birth control, pregnancy, and sexual activities which is quite possibly why such poor decisions are made in office.

It is completely understandable that it becomes a problem when taxpayer money is involved in covering these costs such as in freebased run clinics. People still become surprised at the complete expenses a woman must spend on her sexual health care. Rush Limbaugh was currently in the hot seat for comments he made about Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke. When he became aware of how much women spend yearly on sexual healthcare costs and that Fluke was petitioning for it to be government subsidized, he about had a brain aneurism. The public needs to keep in mind that firstly, not all women take birth control, and secondly it’s not just birth control pills that are taxpayer funded in these free clinics. Women who keep up with their sexual health get yearly pap smears, blood and urine tests for STDs, there’s also free condoms that are handed out and other forms of birth control. People don’t take into account the other costs that women have to pay and yet are subsidized through the government.

As I stated before, these are the reasons why women should have a higher voice on political issues and be held to a higher standard, or at least one of that equal to men. Watch a few clips below on men flubbing their stance on female issues:

Presidential candidate Rick Santorum on abortion:

Kirk Cameron on abortion:

Seriously? In cases of rap or incest you would make your own daughter have that baby? These folks need to put themselves in a woman’s shoes, and that choice should be left up to ultimately the woman. I’m sure Rick Santorum nor Kirk Cameron wouldn’t last for a nanosecond had they been put in a pregnant female’s place for a day. It’s okay to hold those views, having freedom of thought is key and also just because someone is conservative it does not mean their personal views necessarily match up with their party’s platform.  Although, they will always vote for what their party believes in, they themselves may not necessarily hold those views personally.

Enraged Epithets Targeted Exclusively at Education (Rick Santorum)

image

The public should be infuriated with the remarks that presidential candidate Rick Santorum made regarding education in America. He tagged President Obama as being a “snob” for wanting everyone to go to college. That is not entirely true. Obama and people who support education (LIKE MYSELF), want the people to have the CHOICE to get an education and the OPPORTUNITY…we don’t necessarily want to force people to go to school but to have an opportunity AT LEAST. You know a good colleague said something very dead on about when Gingrich made the comment about how our kids should be janitors and cleaning the schools rather than GOING to school….then she said, “Then who are we cleaning the schools for?! Empty seats?!” YEAH! so hypocritical that these guys have degrees! Especially Gingrich who has a PhD!! How could you get up on your high horse with your PhD and talk down education like that?! That is completely despicable.

A Short Note About Politics (more to come...)

Politics plays a very crucial part in our lives. Many people become very irked by the mere exposure of politics & and just can’t stand to listen to it. On the other hand, many individuals find themselves up in arms about the way their community is run, the uninhabitable conditions in their neighborhood, their low wages for the hard work they’ve put in, poor working conditions in their facilities, not enough public transportation, a meager educational system, taxes, the cost of living, not enough access to healthcare, skyrocketing healthcare premiums, etc—& people want to close the door on politics? Nonsense! It’s ALL politics, & people should grab a history and civics book to educate themselves! You can make a change, it all starts from YOU! Why do you think that entry level assistant became CEO in less than a year over well seasoned employees who have been working at the same place for over 2 decades?! Hate to say it but it’s true.

One of the most understudied period of time in history is by far the Reformation Era.

Plato Quote

Plato wrote, “We can easily forgive a child who’s afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.”
