Nutella Day: February 5th 2012!

In honor of World Nutella Day I stumbled across this delightful recipe online via Hungeree.  Pictured below is the Nutella Butter Cake. A decadent and festive cake made with Nutella and frosted with chocolate ganache. Crushed Oreo cookie crumbs line the sides while Hershey Kisses spring nonpareils, and M&Ms are peppered on top.  For the recipe and more please visit:

Introducing: Cafe Estima Blend, Starbucks!

I’m not much of a Starbucks go-er (more of a Peet’s Coffee & Tea aficionado), but I recently tasted this delicious blend of dark roast and fair trade blends. This bold flavored coffee but with a light and somewhat fruity after taste is dubbed the name Cafe Estima Blend, which is now being served at a local Starbucks near you. I was put to my amazement when I discovered Starbucks sells these beans at a little convenience store on my college campus. It’s a dark roast blend from coffees of Latin America and East Africa.  It’s very bold, but I love the flavor. Have it ground for a French press setting and you can toss those Espresso beans out of the window, because Cafe Estima made a run for its money.
